The Business Center provides three default roles that you can assign to each user. The permissions cannot be changed for these roles, although the users assigned to them can.

Administrator

This role contains all permissions to create, modify, and delete merchant ID users.

Report Download

This role enables users to download programmable reports. Because the password for downloading reports never expires, the user cannot log in to the Business Center.

User Report Download

This role enables users to download the programmable user permissions report. Users with this role cannot log in to the Business Center.

Case Management Administrator

 The Case Management Administrator role contains all case management permissions. You can modify this role as needed.

Note: When Decision Manager is enabled this is one of two default example roles will be available.

Case Management Reviewer

The Case Management Reviewer role contains the Queue Search, Order Conversion, and Unrestricted Order Review permissions. You can modify this role as needed.

Note: When Decision Manager is enabled this is one of two default example roles will be available.

Order Review Manager

This is an example role for Order Managers.  You can modify this role as needed.

Note: When Fraud Management Essential is enabled this is one of two default example roles will be available.

Order Reviewer

This is an example role for Order Reviewers.  You can modify this role as needed.

Custom Roles

Only administrators can create and modify roles. You can add to a role any permission that can be assigned to a user. For example, to process orders in the Virtual Terminal, you can create a role instead of assigning individual permissions. This role would contain three permissions: Virtual Terminal Transaction, Payment Authorization, and Payment Capture/Settlement/Debit.
