ContactCommunication typically received
Business ContactReceives registration completion, merchant status change notifications, and login instructions from CyberSource. May be contacted by CyberSource when needed to discuss company sensitive information such as passwords and banking information.

Emergency ContactReceives urgent messages such as service outage notifications. Cybersource strongly recommends that this be an email alias that includes multiple recipients so that, in the event that any one contact is unavailable, others will receive the notification.

Update Your Account Contacts in Business Center

  1. Sign in to the Business Center as an administrator or a custom user with the Merchant Settings permission.
  2. Go to Account Management > Account Information.
  3. Scroll to Contacts,
  4. Edit the information for each of the contacts as needed.

Importance of the Account Contacts

It is critical that this contact information is accurate in order to ensure that your company receives all communication from Cybersource.

Notifying multiple individuals

There is only one name and email address permitted for each contact role. Your organization may have several individuals responsible for a role like the Emergency contact. To ensure that everyone in your organization associated with a role receives the appropriate communications, Cybersource recommends that you provide an email alias for each role. Please consult your IT team for assistance setting up an email alias.
