Create a Shared Secret Key

1. Sign in to the Test or Production Business Center where the key will be used
2. Select Payment Configuration > Key Management
3. From the right of the screen, Select +GENERATE KEY
    

 

4. Select Generate Key at the top right
   
   
    
5. From the list, make sure you check the radio button for REST APIs - REST - Shared Secret Key
   
   
    
6. Click Generate Key at the bottom
   
   
    
7. Click on Download Key or you can copy the keys using the copy function next to Key and Shared Secret 
   
   

Save the Key ID Value for future reference

1. Select KEY MANAGEMENT.
2. Select Key Type: > REST-Shared Secret (or desired Key Type).
3. From the list of keys displayed, find your new key of type Shared Secret Key. You can sort by date to make it easier to locate.
4. Select the key identifier in the Keys column.
    

 

5. Select and copy the value to the right of Key Detail. Paste this value to a file or other location for future reference. This is the Key ID.
    

Additional Information

You use the Shared Secret Key and Key ID values when sending transactions via the REST API connection to Cybersource.
