Security keys enable encrypted transmission of communication between your system and Cybersource. When these keys expire, transaction requests you submit via an associated connection method are not received by Cybersource and do not appear in the Transaction History visible from the Business Center.

Determine if a Key has Expired

Locate the Key Expiration Date

  1. Log into the Enterprise Business Center
  2. On the main page dashboard, there is a security key widget that lets you know of upcoming expiring keys

Replace Expired Keys

If the Expiration Date of any of your keys is in the past, the key has expired and you must create a new key. If it is expiring soon, we recommend creating a new key as soon as possible and updating it to ensure no impact to your transactions.

Manage Expired Keys

Cybersource recommends that you delete or disable any keys that have expired in order to ensure your organization does not mix expired keys with active keys.
