Visa Platform Connect (VPC), formerly referred to as Visa Direct Connect (VDC), Visa DC, or CyberSource through VisaNet (CtV), is a program that allows acquiring banks to use Visa's network and processing as a replacement for a typical payment processor. When VPC is in place, Visa transactions flow directly to Visa's network without the use of third-party payment processors. Similarly, VPC routes other payment types directly to their appropriate payment networks without the use of third-party payment processors.
