Answer
Each Cybersource Merchant ID (MID), also referred to as Organization ID, includes two levels of accounts that you sign in with to manage your MID: merchant-level and account-level.
You use the merchant-level account primarily for normal, day-to-day business activities with your Cybersource merchant ID such as processing transactions, viewing transaction history, and reporting .
The account-level account is considered the parent to the merchant-level account. Some merchants perform activities for multiple merchant-level accounts via Single Sign-On (SSO) from one account-level account. For example, a merchant could perform administrative tasks such as reporting across multiple child/account-level accounts. If you work with a single Cybersource merchant ID, you may seldom need to access the account-level account.
Example
Cybersource merchant ID: cybs001- merchant-level account: cybs001
- account-level account: cybs001_acct
